J. Daniel Choplin
Branch Manager Winston-Salem, North Carolina Daniel Choplin is the Branch Manager for the East Coast Branch Office of Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC. Prior to joining Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC, Mr. Choplin was with Wachovia Bank, N.A. for eight years. During his tenure at Wachovia he held the positions of Sales and Relationship Manager — Wachovia Exchange Services, Business Systems Analyst — Electronic Services Integration and International Operations, and Supervisor of Documentary Letters of Credit — International Operations. Mr. Choplin is responsible for overall business development, client relationship management and area management functions for the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida markets. Daniel’s prior experience as both an account administrator and sales manager provides unique insight into all facets of the 1031 exchange process. Prior to joining Wachovia Bank, N.A. he served as Manager, Turbine Services Division at Piedmont Aviation Services, Inc. overseeing maintenance, repair and overhaul services of auxiliary power units (APU). Mr. Choplin graduated from Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, North Carolina with a Masters of Business Administration. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and completed the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program at North American Institute of Aviation obtaining his Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant License.
